It is important to look after your NHS dental registration.
We understand short-notice cancellations can happen, and we want to help you keep your registration.
Attend regularly to keep up your NHS dental registration
Many of our patients forget to schedule regular dental visits. It is essential to see your dentist at least every two years to keep up your registration. We don’t like to tell patients that we cannot see them anymore, so please book in for regular check-ups and appointments.
How to keep your place on our NHS patient list
We’d like to keep all of our patients no matter the circumstances, but with long waiting lists and Covid-19 related backlogs, we are working under strict regulations. Here is how you keep your place as an NHS patient with FP Dental.
- You should attend any scheduled appointment or cancel it at least 24 hours in advance.
- Prior to leaving the practice, make sure you schedule your next dental exam. You can make your next appointment three, six, nine or even twelve months in advance, and our receptionists will remind you nearer the time as well.
- Ensure your contact information is up-to-date. Make sure your email address and mobile number are correct. Keeping in touch with you can help you make sure that you don’t miss your appointment.
- When caring for an older person, make sure they keep up with their registration by tracking their appointments with them.
